6 ‘dismembered’ as car crashes into parked tanker in Madhya Pradesh | Indore News – Times of India

INDORE: Six youngsters, aged 19-25, on their way back from a party, were killed when their car slammed into a parked petroleum tanker in Indore’s Dewas Naka area late Monday night. The impact was so severe that almost everyone inside was dismembered.
CCTV footage at 1.05am shows the car travelling at high speed when the driver swerves slightly to avoid a car in front. It plows into the back of the tanker – barely one second after the swerve. An employee at a nearby petrol pump alerted Lasudia police station.

Lasudia SI Nar Singh Pal said he was shocked as the car had been crushed in the collision and the front part had telescoped into the rear, mangling all the occupants.”It took a lot of time to remove the bodies from the car,” he said.
Four had died upon impact but two were still breathing. They were taken to MY Hospital, but couldn’t be saved. Pal identified the victims as Rishi Panwar, 19, and Sumit Yadav of Bhagyashree Colony, Golu alias Suraj, 25, Chandrabhan Raghuvanshi, 23, and Dev Ramkumar of Malviya Nagar, and Sonu Jat, 23, of Adarsh Megdhoot Nagar.
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and former CM Kamal Nath tweeted their condolences. SP Ashutosh Bagri said a culpable homicide case has been registered against the tanker driver for wrong parking.
