Actor Sonu Sood to set up oxygen plant in Madhya Pradesh | Bhopal News – Times of India

BHOPAL: Bollywood actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood has come up with yet another initiative to aid in Covid relief. He will soon setup an oxygen plant in MP’s Indore. This is a part of his oxygen plant installation work, which he will set up in various states across the country.
In the initial stage, he will set-up 15-18 oxygen plants in various parts of the country. The process to set-up the oxygen plant is will be completed by September in all different states. He will start with installing an oxygen plant in Kurnool of Andhra Pradesh.
Sharing a video on twitter, the actor spoke about the second wave and how it is affecting people adversely. Sonu Sood mentioned that these oxygen plants will mostly be installed in hospitals for the poor from where they can use these resources freely.
As per the video, the actor also spoke about the impending third wave of Covid, Sonu said, “This will solve the problem of oxygen forever. We now have 750 odd oxygen concentrators which we are giving out, and they’re all for domestic usage. But the oxygen plants will keep giving oxygen for years to come. There wouldn’t be a shortage of oxygen in these areas ever again. Why wait for a 3rd or a 4th wave or even a pandemic?”
The actor also informed in the video that these 18 oxygen plants will cater to almost 5,500 beds.
